Welcome to the Beach Medical Clinic Website

Beach Medical Clinic is one of the oldest established medical practices on the Redcliffe Peninsula. The building was the original pharmacy and home that serviced the Redcliffe Hospital. The practice is right on the beach, looking at the ocean where you can watch the windsurfers and swimmers in summer. It is a 30 minute drive from Brisbane City Post Office. We also have allied health onsite, which include sessions from a Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Podiatrist, Dietician, Diabetic Educator, Exercise Physiologist and a full time Massage Therapist. .

The Redcliffe City Council has awarded us a certificate stating that this practice has been providing service for over fifty years. Dr McMahon, Dr Dean, Dr Carmichael and Dr Elliot were the early occupants. Dr's Bernard Chan and Mal Mohanlal, both experienced Vocational Registered doctors have been working together in partnership since 1972. Dr Kimberley Bondeson joined the partnership in 2004.

The practice services the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding areas,. The peninsula has a total population of 53,000 and includes many elderly patients and young families attracted to the beach and casual lifestyle. The area is flat, and has excellent walking and cycling tracks along the beach and a large Marina at Scarborough.

Beach Medical Clinic is also a teaching surgery for medical students, and GP Training Registrars. Both Dr Chan and Dr Mal also teach acupuncture.
